Terms & Conditions

By accessing our website and booking our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Direct & Coordinated Services
K-STAR TRAVEL is a licensed travel agency that personally plans and manages private travel experiences.
Certain parts of the journey that require local specialization (such as regional transportation, rail bikes, ferries, or local expert guiding) may be operated in coordination with our trusted partners.
All services are carefully selected, pre-arranged, and directly managed by K-STAR TRAVEL to ensure consistency in quality, safety, and overall experience.
We remain your dedicated point of contact throughout the entire journey.

2. Booking & Confirmation
A reservation is officially confirmed only after the required deposit or full payment has been received and a confirmation voucher has been issued.

3. Itinerary Changes
K-STAR TRAVEL reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the itinerary due to weather conditions, local circumstances, or operational requirements, while maintaining the overall experience.

4. Safety & Liability
While we prioritize traveler safety through careful planning and partner selection, K-STAR TRAVEL shall not be held liable for personal accidents, illnesses, or loss of property caused by individual negligence or unforeseen external factors during the tour.
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure.

5. Compliance
Travelers are expected to comply with all applicable local laws, cultural norms, and safety regulations of the destinations visited during the tour.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change, and we aim to handle every situation with fairness, flexibility, and clear communication.

Day Tours​

  • More than 48 hours before the tour:

Full refund (excluding payment processing or bank transfer fees)

You may cancel or modify your plans freely up to 48 hours before the tour.

  • 24–48 hours before the tour:

50% of the total tour price is refundable

​

  • Less than 24 hours / No-show:

Non-refundable

Multi-day Tours​

  • More than 30 days before the tour:

Full refund (excluding payment processing or bank transfer fees)

  • 15–29 days before the tour:

70% of the total tour price is refundable

​

  • 8-14 days before the tour:

50% of the total tour price is refundable

 

  • 7 days or less before the tour:

​​​​External Costs (Multi-day tours only)

For certain components of your tour (such as hotels, transportation, or partner-operated services), some costs may be subject to the individual provider’s cancellation policies and may not be fully refundable.
In such cases, any non-recoverable expenses will be fairly deducted from the total refund amount.
K-STAR TRAVEL will always make reasonable efforts to minimize these costs whenever possible.

Refund Calculation
Refunds are calculated based on the total tour price to ensure fair and consistent application of the policy, regardless of the payment amount made.

Force Majeure

In the event that a tour is canceled or significantly modified due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or safety concerns), K-STAR TRAVEL will offer an alternative date or a partial/full refund where possible.
However, any non-recoverable costs from third-party providers may still apply.

No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.
K-STAR TRAVEL reserves the right to proceed with the tour as scheduled in such cases.​​
